Today is the UN International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and White Ribbon Day. 

To commemorate both campaigns, CopperTree Forensics are donating Forensic Investigation Torches to support academic research at Staffordshire University and Liverpool John Moore University. 

The research is led by Professor Cassella and team Inc Dr Fieldhouse and Dr Sheppard. The research covers SARCs (Sexual Assault Referral Centres) and the fight against sexual assault towards woman. 

In addition, CopperTree Forensics are donating a Forensic Investigation Torch (SARCS-LED) to a SARC run by the NHS and Mountain Healthcare. 

CopperTree Forensics hope the donations will progress research and ultimately improve the service to women suffering from violence and sexual assault.
